The Bad Plus Pittsburgh Concert reviews
Technically perfect. Great!
The sounds, to me, were perfect and had a softer feel than Them and Us and The Wall. The Bad Plus's voice was perfect. The sax was incredible. Songs like The Bar were a little sentimental, seemingly a work in progress. At the end of the show, it was almost melancholy, bringing the whole audience into a small and cozy scene of people from the band all sitting around The Bad Plus on the piano. That was a feat. I was very happy. The whole band appeared satisfied too. They all did a great job. And lastly, I admire The Bad Plus's dedication to justice and all human rights. And agree with their politics.
